The new “dancing doves” t-shirts are now available as well as a re-issue of the “gramophone sky blue” t-shirts at my webstore.

p.p.s.
If you bought Go Easy Little Doves off iTunes or Amazon, or any digital distributor, you can now get the digibooklet (it’s a .pdf) on my website just under the album cover on the right sidebar.

Well my friends, the new record released last week and thanks to you all, it stayed strong at #1 on iTunes for singer/songwriter for a few days straight!

And Miss Marie Claire gave it a little shout in their November mag stating, “Go Easy Little Doves is ethereal chamber music paired with wood-nymph vocals. A need-to-download.”

*disclaimer*
Most of this blog will basically entail many thanks to various people and friends… :)

…So, I was driving through the great American midwest last week to meet up with Owl City for our tour that got started in Iowa when I got a delightful little text from a friend who was attending the Nashville Music Awards. To my surprise and excitement, they awarded me Next Big Nashville Best Emerging Artist Award. I thank you for that! Most sincerely.

And in closing, I just booked a show at the Belcourt Theater to host an official release show for the new record. If you’re in or near the nashville area please come celebrate with me November 19. I will have some lap steel, classical guitars, harp, a full string section (complete with a few members from the city’s symphony orchestra), and lots o’ NEW songs! Should be a special evening.

I currently bid you farewell from Boise, Idaho!

New Website!!!

Hi all.

Website is officially updated with new graphics, photos, and tour info.

I have thoroughly enjoyed the tour I’m on now with Denison Witmer. We’ve had a great time!
AND, I’m getting really excited about the tour in October with Owl City!

I will have early copies of my new project with me on that tour as well as new T-shirts and other fun things… So please come out and say ‘hi’!

L O V E,
Brooke

Go Easy Little Doves

So… there has been much, much happening.
This has been quite a unique summer in many ways.
I am learning how to be a wife and loving every day.

I also finished a new record that I love so dearly I cannot wait to share it with you.
This is something very fresh and exciting. It’s laced with all sorts of q&a, pensiveness, elasticity, and romance.

As of today, there are 4 new tunes from the album available for streaming at www.myspace.com/brookewaggoner as well as new artwork, photos, and TONS of tour dates on the horizon — Denison Witmer in September and Owl City in October.

I’m digitally releasing the collection of music Oct. 6, 2009.
Physical copies will be available Nov. 3, 2009.
BUT, I will have some advanced copies on the Owl City Tour.

See you on tour!!!

Hope you are well, my friends.

As always,
L O V E

Brooke

Good afternoon dear friends.

I want to invite you out to Cornerstone this year for some fun and festivity!

What a good ol’ time this is going to be!

I’m playing two sets while I’m there — July 3 and July 4.
There will be a full band with me as well as stacks of my new vinyl. Mmmm, yes!
Hope to meet and see new and old friends…

I also posted some dates friday to begin early promotion for a tour taking place in the fall with Owl City and The Scene Aesthetic. They are all west coast dates which is exciting news! This means lots and lots of new cities, new clubs, and new faces.

Let the friendships commence!

Love to you all.
Brooke

p.s. I AM FINISHING MY NEW RECORD THIS SUMMER!
GET READY FOR FRESH THINGS!

Hello everyone!!

Ahhhh….. YES, my merch store is officially live!! We had some very unexpected techy glitches with it that just took a long time to get worked out, so I just want to thank everyone that’s emailed me for all the patience with the store.

I’m also really, really excited about Heal for the Honey being available on vinyl!!! It’s not physically here yet, but it will be arriving in a couple of weeks. I didn’t want to wait though to put it up on the store so it’s up there and available for pre-order. All vinyl pre-orders include a copy of Heal for the Honey on CD.

I leave for the Copeland / This Providence / Paper Route tour this week and hope to see everyone out at the shows!! Three amazing bands — it’s going to be a ton of fun! See ya out there!!

Much love,

Brooke
